South Florida Water Management Restrictions

South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) has instituted restrictions on when you may irrigate your lawn.  Click on the document below for SFWMD's press release and latest year round watering information.

These restrictions are in-force until further notice and may become a permenant fixture in the way you manage your landscape.  It is SMRU's goal to assure that our customers are compliant with the restrictions while providing guidance as to how you can continue to enjoy the beauty of your South Florida lawn.

Many individuals have begun to incorporate drought-tolerant vegetation into their landscape design.  Others have chosen to install drip or micro irrigation which is presently unrestricted.  Some homeowners have chosen to embrace the water conservation movement and create Xeriscape lawns.  Whatever method you chose, rest assured, you are making a difference.
